Pastor – Justin Campbell
It could be said that Justin is a typical Australian guy. He loves playing sport of all kinds, particularly cricket and rugby, and he enjoys listening to music and spending time with friends. Having grown up in a Christian family living in Sydney’s Hills district, Justin was employed for 12 years as a youth worker, and was the Associate Pastor in Oatley until 2005.
It was during this time that God began to show Justin the plans for a new ministry in and began to increase his passion for church planting. He served as the Pastor of the planting church, Ermington Community Church, and is Riverside’s first Pastor.
Justin identifies his strengths primarily as his ability to relate to and minister amongst individuals. He has the ability to engage with people no matter what cultural or social economic back ground they may come from and considers interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels to be amongst his principal strengths.
He has completed an Advanced Diploma of Theology and a Bachelor of Ministry at Morling Bible College. His is currently doing a Master of Arts in Ministry, also at Morling.
Justin is married to Heidi who is a psychologist working as a school counsellor at Rouse Hill Anglican College, and they have two sons.
